grove

A dating app built around live music

the night already
introduced you.

Meet the people going to the same show. Hear them first. See them later.

Everything vibrates

Physics pictures the universe as vibrating strings. People work the same way: two of them meet on the same frequency. Music makes it audible.

Other apps make you invent a reason to meet. A concert is the reason.

01 Events

Nights, not profiles.

Seven months ahead. A dot means something is on. Tap it, and the night is yours.

02 The pool

One night. One room.

Everyone in the pool is going to the same show. It closes the morning after.

The vortex

A person, drawn as a frequency. When two resonate, it becomes a heart.

The dial

Rides the vortex's own rim. Turn it to change the night.

The rail

The same instrument, mirrored. Pass on one end, like on the other.

The Vibe screen, at the app's own size. Turn the dial, press pass or like. Sample nights and people.

03 The voice

Hear before you see.

Every conversation opens with a voice. It says what a photo cannot.

Tap to listen

04 The reveal

Faces are earned.

Five rounds of talk. Then you both decide what to share.

Attention can be bought. A conversation can only be kept.

05 Playlists

Every night leaves a song.

Kept holds the songs of people still in your life. Lost holds the rest. No names, no faces. Only the music.

07 How grove is drawn

Drawn as one instrument.

One perspective

Vortex, dial and rail share a single tilt.

Colour that points

Orange and blue mark things. They never fill.

Motion with meaning

If it moves, it is telling you something.

Glass without edges

The blur is the border.
